The Event:
ANZAC Day commemorates the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. It is a solemn occasion to honor those who served and died in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. The Frankston ANZAC Day services are the second largest in Victoria, following the Shrine of Remembrance. The event includes a Dawn Service, a Veterans and Services March, and a Commemorative Service, all of which are live-streamed for broader accessibility.

Our Role
As the complete event management partner, we collaborate closely with Frankston City Council and the Frankston RSL to oversee all aspects of the event. Our responsibilities include coordinating logistics, managing contractors and emergency services, handling audio-visual requirements, planning traffic and site layouts, and preparing permit documentation. The RSL oversees the MCing of the services, coordination of the band, wreath-laying ceremonies, and march participants.‘The logistics and organisation required for an event the size of the Dawn Service in Frankston is onerous. Over 7000 people attend and the importance of the event for the people of Frankston cannot be understated. Lisa has been involved with the Frankston RSL for 6 years and her ability to bring together many different stake holders to make the event seamless is remarkable. Lisa’s attention to detail, understanding of role and excellence in delivery make her a pleasure to work with and most importantly, the event a successful one every year. I heartily recommend Lisa for any event management roles and will continue to use her services at the Frankston RSL.”
